What is Oxidized Bitumen 90/15?
Oxid Bitumen 90/15 is produced by introducing air through the bitumen for the entrance class under controlled temperature conditions. This oxidation process changes the molecular structure of the bitumen, increases the soft point and reduces the input value, making it more difficult and elastic.
The figure 90/15 represents a soft point (90 ° C) and penetration (15 dmm) respectively.
The resulting material becomes low -low-temperature sensitive and more stable under different environmental conditions. The semi-determined shape, rubber -like elasticity and high resistance to water and chemical agents make it a reliable component of a wide range of ceilings, waterproofing, pipeline sealing, sound insulation and industrial use.
