Executive Summary
A Chinese infrastructure company located in Beijing required a stable and high quality supply of class 50/70 Bitumen for a large national motorway construction project in Ghana. He demanded a supplier that can offer competitive prices, frequent quality and logistics support. We met the demand for 2,500 tonnes, mour directly from the UAE, and secured timely delivery through adapted shipping and coordination. The result was a steady construction phase with zero delay, which we were in position as a reliable partner for future obligations in Africa and Southeast Asia.
Client Background
Our customer is a major infrastructure and engineering firm located in Beijing, China, with a main focus on government-backed road and highway development projects in Africa and Southeast Asia. They are known for their great civilian work, and often work with global suppliers to maintain construction time and international quality standards.
Project Objective
For the construction of a national highway section in Ghana, the customer needs:
RAJEEV PATIL
ANA GÓMEZ
Ada Kanacki
Challenges
Despite our widespread experience in the international bitum supply, the project launched several logistical and operational obstacles. The first major challenge was the long shipping route from UAE to Ghana, located on the west coast of Africa. The tropical climate in Ghana requires a bitumen that can meet excessive heat and humidity, making quality control an important factor.
In addition, the project required spontaneous coordination in three countries: China, where the customer was based; UAE, where bitumen was angry; And Ghana, where delivery required. The timeline of the construction set by the client was tight, there was no room for delay or logical accidents. Finally, the customer worked with a strict budget, which meant that we had to ensure cost -effectiveness without compromising on the quality of materials or services.
Our Solution
To meet the versatile requirements for this project, we used a fully managed and sewn export solution. We started by buying class 50/70 Bitumen from certified refineries in the UAE, and made each batch come with laboratory reports to validate the quality.
Our team worked with suppliers to offer very competitive market prices, which was made possible by bulk purchases and long -term supplier participation. The bitumen was packed in a durable drum, which was safely palette to facilitate safe and efficient loading, transport and unloading.
Shipping was arranged for shipping via Char Freight from Jebel Ali Port in Dubai using a cost-not-oriented passage and reliable carrier. We provided wide logistics support, including real -time tracking of customs withdrawals, port management, container and shipment.
Throughout the process, the customer was entrusted with the consistent account manager to inform and secure throughout the process to maintain continuous communication and provide timely updates.
Execution
The execution phase began with strategic procurement of high quality degree 50/70 bitumen from reliable and certified UAE refineries. Each shipment was confirmed through strict laboratory testing to ensure compliance with international standards.
Our packing team handled Bitumen with care, sealed close to the help of industrial quality steel drums and pelt to ensure maximum safety during transport. This carefully preparation reduced the risk of injury and secured smooth handling upon arrival.
Shipping was organized through C -GODs, where Jebel Ali was dragged from the harbor and reached the Tempa port in Ghana for less than 30 days -within the required delivery deadline. This time distribution was important to help the customer maintain the construction program without resolution.
In addition to transport, we administered all necessary documents, including export certificates, customs reports and withdrawal procedures at UAE and Ghana ports. This end-to-end documentation support ended the administrative delay and secured smooth treatment across the borders.
Results
The result of this project was very successful on all fronts. We gave a full 2500 tonnes of bitumen in time, with zero compromise on quality. The limitations and reliable distribution of this time allowed the customer to continue with the infrastructure project according to the plan, without having any delay in the construction.
In addition, our ability to adapt shipping logistics led to a remarkable cost savings for the customer, and increased their overall project pay. The most important thing is that the success of this operation laid a strong basis for ongoing partnerships, future projects were already discussed for execution in Africa and Southeast Asia.
Conclusion
This case study demonstrates our capability as a reliable global exporter of Bitumen from the UAE. Whether it’s meeting urgent deadlines, offering the most competitive rates, or supporting international logistics, we ensure our clients receive more than just a product—they receive a partnership they can count on.
