What Is Grade P-70 Bitumen?
Grade P-70 is a high-performance plastomeric bitumen modified with APP to deliver a step up in stiffness over P-40, with a lower penetration of 20–40 (0.1mm units) and a softening point of 115–135°C. This composition resists permanent deformation even under prolonged high-temperature exposure.
It’s suited to expressways, industrial pavements, and roads facing extreme traffic stress, where long-term rutting resistance and load-bearing capacity are the priority.
Tested to ASTM D5, D36, D113, and D2042 standards, Grade P-70 offers a reinforced, high-durability binder for infrastructure operating under continuous heavy loading.
