    What is CMS-2 Bitumen Emulsion?

    CMS-2 (Cationic Medium Setting – Grade 2) is a water-based bitumen emulsion containing approximately 65% bitumen, designed for applications requiring longer mixing time before setting.

    Unlike rapid-setting emulsions (CRS), CMS-2:

    • Does not break immediately upon contact with aggregates
    • Allows extended workability during mixing
    • Ensures uniform coating in cold mix operations
