MC-3000 Cutback Bitumen — Ultra-High Viscosity Grade for Heavy Stabilization Works

Cutback MC-3000 bitumen is a medium-curing binder made by blending penetration-grade bitumen with low-volatility solvents. It is the highest-viscosity grade in the MC series, designed to hold together under the most demanding application conditions.

With a kinematic viscosity of 3000–8000 mm²/s at 60°C, MC-3000 delivers a much thicker binder film than MC-800, along with slower, more controlled curing. This makes it suited to heavy-duty and industrial roads, as well as airfield pavements facing severe traffic loads.

Governed by ASTM D2170 and D402 test methods, MC-3000 offers maximum binder thickness and superior adhesion. It’s the preferred choice when a project demands extended durability under extreme climate or traffic stress.
