What is Bitumen 85/35?
Oxidized Bitumen 85/35 is an air-blown bitumen grade with a softening point near 85°C and a penetration value around 35 (0.1mm). It combines high thermal stability with controlled flexibility, consistently offering better heat resistance than standard grades while remaining more pliable than harder 85/25-grade petroleum bitumen.
Oxidized Bitumen 85/35 is widely used in roofing felts, waterproofing membranes, expansion joint fillers, pipe coatings, and industrial sealing applications. Its resistance to flow and deformation makes it well suited for hot climates and exposed surfaces, delivering long-lasting protection across roofing, waterproofing, and infrastructure projects worldwide.
