PG 76-10 is a Superpave performance-graded bitumen classified by how it behaves across a specific temperature range. The “76” denotes the highest average seven-day pavement temperature (°C) the binder can withstand without rutting, while “-10” is the lowest pavement temperature it can endure without cracking.

The high-temperature side (76°C) reflects strong resistance to permanent deformation under heavy, slow-moving, or channelized traffic — typical of highways, intersections, and truck routes. The -10°C low-temperature grade suits regions with moderate winters where severe sub-zero cracking isn’t the primary concern.
