Balanced cure time for patching and paving

Cutback MC 70 is a medium-curing cutback bitumen: penetration-grade bitumen thinned with kerosene so it can be applied without heating. The grade name gives the minimum kinematic viscosity at 60°C (70 mm²/s).

A medium-volatility solvent such as kerosene gives a balanced cure. The binder stays workable long enough to mix with aggregate and then sets as the solvent evaporates.
