What Is PMB 10/40-65 Bitumen?

PMB 10/40-65 is a polymer-modified bitumen produced by blending penetration-grade bitumen with polymers such as SBS or EVA to raise its softening point and stiffness. A low penetration value of 10–40 (0.1mm units) combined with a minimum 65°C softening point gives it exceptional resistance to deformation under heavy, sustained loading.

This hard, elastic grade is engineered for highways, expressways, and airport pavements that face intense traffic and high surface temperatures. It resists rutting, cracking, and fatigue far better than conventional bitumen.
