A stiff binder for heat and heavy traffic

Bitumen C450 is an Australian-standard residual bitumen graded by viscosity at 60°C under AS 2008. The class number is the nominal viscosity in pascal-seconds (C450 = about 450 Pa·s).

Its high viscosity gives a stiff, stable binder that resists rutting and deformation under heavy loads and high pavement temperatures.
