Fast-curing binder for quick turnaround

Cutback RC 70 is a rapid-curing cutback bitumen: penetration-grade bitumen thinned with gasoline or naphtha so it can be applied without heating. The grade name gives the minimum kinematic viscosity at 60°C (70 mm²/s).

Because the solvent is light and volatile, it evaporates quickly and the binder sets fast. This suits chip seals, tack coats and maintenance work that must reopen to traffic soon.
