Hard and stable for heavy traffic and heat

Bitumen AH50 is a hard penetration-grade bitumen from the Chinese AH series for heavy-traffic road asphalt, made to GB/T 15180. The grade name gives the nominal penetration (AH50 is about 50 dmm at 25°C).

Its low penetration and higher softening point give a stiff binder that resists rutting under heavy loads and high pavement temperatures.
