Documents, Terms and Choosing a Grade

Each consignment is supported by a certificate of analysis (COA) for the batch, the technical data sheet (TDS) and the material safety data sheet (MSDS), together with the commercial documents your importer needs, such as the commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and certificate of origin. Our guide to reading a bitumen COA explains what each line on the certificate means.

We quote on FOB, CFR and CIF terms. Tell us your destination port and preferred Incoterm when you request a quote, and we will confirm the shipping options available for your grade and packaging.

Two methods are commonly used: telegraphic transfer (TT) with a 30% advance and the balance against shipping documents, or a 100% irrevocable, confirmed letter of credit (LC) at sight, subject to bank approval. The terms for each order are confirmed in the commercial offer.

Yes. Marking can be customized based on customer request, for example with your company name, project reference or grade information, so the cargo is easy to identify on arrival.

As a general rule, harder grades such as 40/50 or 60/70 resist rutting in hot climates, while softer grades such as 80/100 stay flexible in cooler conditions. Traffic loading and the project specification matter just as much. Read how to choose the right bitumen grade for your climate, or ask our team to check your specification.

Send us the grade or standard, the quantity in metric tonnes, the packaging you prefer, the destination port and the Incoterm. If your project follows a tender specification, attach it so we can confirm compliance before quoting. You can reach us through the contact page.
